Cancellation and refunds

This covers the hosted plan at app.echo-mem.com, which is $149 a month. Running Echo Memory yourself is free under the Business Source License and there is nothing to cancel or refund there.

Cancelling

Cancel at any time from the dashboard, under Plan. It takes one click and needs no email, no notice period and no conversation with anybody.

The plan then runs to the end of the period you have already paid for and does not renew. You keep full access until that date.

Refunds

We do not pro-rate refunds for a partial month. If you cancel on day three, the month you bought runs to its end rather than being returned in cash.

If the service failed and that is why you are leaving, write to us. We will make it right rather than point at this paragraph. That is a commitment about how we behave, not a loophole to be argued over.

Where a refund is agreed, it goes back to the card or method it was paid with, through Razorpay, and typically appears within five to seven working days depending on your bank.

Your memory after cancelling

Nothing is deleted the moment a plan ends. Your graph stays where it is and stays yours. Write to us if you want an export, or run echo-memory export against the hosted endpoint before the plan ends and take everything with you as JSON.

Price changes

If a price changes, existing subscribers are emailed at least 30 days before it applies to them, which is time enough to cancel if it is not worth it to you.
